The resort was designed by Jack Nicklaus and has been advertised on television. Located just 10 minutes drive from Murcia San Javier airport.  The beautiful beach at Los Alcazares (one of many) on the Mar Menor is just a 5 minute drive from the resort. The Mar Menor Golf Resort is great for those looking for a quiet holiday, but with many facilities on the doorstep. It is a gated resort, giving you additional privacy and security with access only for residents, villa and hotel guests and  resort workers.

The resort has 24 hour security, with patrols inside the resort. It is a well maintained and settled location and a pleasure to walk around.

GOLF DRESS CODE

GENTLEMEN : SHIRTS: It is allowed to wear polo shirts and shirts with a high neck.

It is forbidden to wear shirts without sleeves or neck.

TROUSERS: They must be designed and proper to play golf. Jeans and track suits are completely forbidden.

SHORTS: Golf Bermudas or capris are allowed. The wearing of football, tennis or swimming shorts, etc. is strictly forbidden.

SHOES: Only golf shoes with soft spikes are allowed. It is compulsory to wear socks.

LADIES:     SHIRTS: It is allowed to wear polo shirts with or without sleeves and shirts with a high neck.

Information on what you will need to play on Polaris World Mar Menor Golf Resort.

To play on the Mar Menor Golf Course you need handicaps under 28 for gentlemen and under 36 for ladies (please bring your handicap certificate with you to show at the pro shop. You will also need proof that you are staying on the resort which we can provide. Please ensure that you ask for this in plenty of time before you go.
